and on top of that I ofc still have to worry about not having a job in September so all of these things pile up and I feel like absolute shit for apparently breaking rules even though no one ever told me about them.

Im technically not even allowed to have these vacation days?? Anyway I obviously don’t mind rules and following them BUT why are they suddenly there AFTERWARDS? And why aren’t they written down anywhere?? I’m losing my mind.

„I am going to allow you days off when your new contract starts this time, but this is the last time“ - I was in the same position 2 years ago and it was totally fine?? and now it suddenly isn’t okay??? and like I didn’t sign ANYTHING so far but still.

it’s impossible to book affordable flights or whatsoever like 3 weeks before departure. so like, my life had to go on no matter what would happen…. anyway I requested the days off today (still no contract) and my boss told me.

so since my life had to go on AND I HAD to use all my leftover vacation days, I booked my vacation for August and September because 1. there was a possibility I wouldn’t have a job in September so I could be away either way and 2. I couldn’t have waited because.

so I basically have this and next week for a contract to arrive while still having to sign it and send it back before I’ll not be able to sign it anymore until AFTER the new one would potentially start.

anyway so I still don’t have a contract for my work so in theory and on paper I don’t have a job in September and though they keep telling me, it’s gonna come, I‘m losing time because I am also forced to use ALL of my leftover vacation days before my old contract ends.

ugh I need to rant a bit because I’ve been soooo sad today so don’t mind me (and scroll potentially).
