there’s actually quite a few things to unpack here!! 1) rafayel DIDNT leave mc to drown. that’s a very, very common misconception but he didn’t just “almost let mc drown”. the ocean is his home & she is 100% safe there. there is no “other entity” (his Sea God powers) taking
I'm still looking for an answer why he almost let mc drown btw, I don't buy the excuse "he knew she can breath underwater" NO SHE'S CAN'T BREATH UNDERWATER HERE
