Our most recent publication is out! In this paper, first author Kendall Case shows that VPA causes inositol depletion by reducing expression of the rate-limiting biosynthetic enzyme MIPS, rather than through MIPS phosphorylation as previously hypothesized. Congratulations Kendall.

We are excited to announce that our latest paper has been published in the Journal of Biological Chemistry(JBC)! In this paper, we describe the first mechanistic details of how cardiolipin metabolism regulates expression of muscle transcription factor MyoD1 and muscle development.
