As seen at the former Richmond Green park… the sign says it all. Jeff Davison voted to sell off YOUR park space. We only get ONE shot at this election Calgary. Educate yourselves on your councillor and mayoral candidates. Vote wisely. #yyccc

New report confirms it: blanket upzoning drives housing costs up, not down. Let’s not forget, this was approved under Mayor Gondek and now she wants another term. Vote wisely on October 20.

Calgary’s blanket rezoning came in like a wrecking ball, destroying neighbourhood character and silencing residents. Thomas is right: it’s council’s biggest betrayal. Voters must never forget… choose wisely. https://t.co/I5idzcUq9J #

Take a look at this block along 28th St SW in Killarney. After years of nonstop development, the sidewalks are a mess, cracked, patched and unsafe. It leaves residents wondering why taxpayers are left covering the costs while developers move on.

Check out the state of these sidewalks in Cranston. Talked to a senior who tripped and broke her wrist while going to the mailbox. This is shameful. #yyccc needs to get back to providing core services ASAP.

1,500 units on 9 acres. That’s what the V. Bennett development brings to Richmond Knob Hill. Thousands of new residents, more traffic, old infrastructure & no meaningful fit with the community. We’re not growth, we’re the sacrifice. https://t.co/s5XAo144Ar via @calgaryherald

I’m passionate about my community & the appeal challenging VB rezoning & development in RKH. I’ve volunteered to take a stand against overdevelopment - not just for our neighbourhood, but for all of YYC. Please consider contributing if you can. TY 😊🙏🏻 https://t.co/7oqONq755w

The Calgary Stampede is gone for another year. Gone are the cowgirls and cowboys. Gone are the cattle, horses and chuckwagons. The midway is gone and soon to be gone are the big party tents downtown.

Approving massive high-density projects, like Viscount Bennett, without updated traffic or infrastructure plans is not smart growth. Communities need transparency, planning and engagement before rezoning. #yyccc

Calgary’s redevelopment process is under scrutiny for good reason. This isn’t about NIMBYism; it’s about transparency, accountability & meaningful community input. The Viscount Bennett appeal hopes to set a standard for how future developments are handled across the city. #yyccc

Over the past year in particular, she’s shown just how out of touch she is with the Calgarians who elected her. I’ve lost all respect for her. We need a change this October—no question.

Hard to disagree with any of this. City Hall feels more out of touch than ever. Tone-deaf, unaccountable and void to responsibility. Calgarians deserve leadership that listens and serves. In October, we need real change. It’s time to vote in a new mayor. #yyccc

They’ve started cutting. Richmond Green’s majestic poplars and evergreens — gone. The City sold this beloved park space and ball diamonds to a developer - 400 units Before ➡️ After Calgary doesn’t need fewer trees and fewer parks. We need leadership that protects them.

YYC Parks claims to “strive for sustainability” and “accessible enjoyment” yet they’ve sold off SW park space (Richmond Green, Viscount Bennett) and now want to charge for parking at Edworthy. Make it make sense. #yyccc #Calgary

3-unit townhouse + 3 basement suites at 252 Sierra Nevada SW? That’s 6 households on a quiet cul-de-sac with just 3 parking spots. Mayor’s blanket rezoning removed public input, now Signal Hill pays the price. This isn’t “gentle density.” It’s overreach.

Calgary’s citywide rezoning is transforming Signal Hill. If you live near 252 Sierra Nevada Close SW, your property value could drop by at least $25,000. Here’s what local homeowners need to know.
