#JulyWorldbuilders. Day 8:. When the Leer started to die Voidspawn were seen fluttering around the Sun. This variety would be immune to beam weapons, since they have no problem swimming through the corona . and if they keep coming, the Sun will start getting dimmer.

#JulyWorldbuilders. Day 6:. Stationary defensive cannons can exceed the range of mobile offensive guns. Dams to dry out a city (or unleash floods) are the siege weapon of choice in the Mundane, built far outside the defender's range. Submarines and airships have also been used.

#JulyWorldbuilders. Day 3:. Hanniba was put in charge of a crusade and led it into a desert to test their resolve, and then yell at them for being so resolved and stupid. She only used her (absurdly unfair) powers to keep people from deserting, or then from offing themselves.

#JulyWorldbuilders. Day 1:. There's a power vacuum as the Big Bad is dying, sucking everyone in. The first ones who try to finish him off will still probably die, so everyone's rushing in and then slamming the breaks, trying to push each other forward. It might all be a trap.

#juneworldbuilders. Day 26:. You ever have a really bad travel experience?. Hanniba led a crusade into a desert, and then possibly into hell, forcing everyone to stay, stay awake and stay alive every stinking step of the journey.

#juneworldbuilders. Day 25:. Because murder is spiritually risky, even of most criminals, banishment is a common practice. This has produced large clans and even mini-nations of thieves and other undesirables between legit nations, with their own laws (and vigilantes).

#juneworldbuilders. Day 19:. Immortal demons = unlimited protein, if an animal plays its cards right and lives near the Edge. Getting devoured by sharks hundreds of times in a row is just part of the job for Edgespawn. They're still going to punish you for that thing you did.

#juneworldbuilders. Day 18:. A Red Eagle (think 'cenobite dragon') lends aid to the airship Annoying Thought. A wyrm (think 'centipede dragon') offers to carry the protagonists at one point, but it gets torn apart. Also, the demon seagull.

#juneworldbuilders. Day 17:. Edgespawn, manifested from mortal minds, often seem demonic but actually protect their races from completely alien threats. Entities of the Void seek to assimilate the World but usually end up assimilating too many flaws and 'go native'.

#juneworldbuilders. Day 15:. To people in the setting the Edgespawn are grotesque abominations. To the reader, they are slapstick. But Mundane organisms that have adapted to hunt and kill supernatural monsters are probably the most frightening entities.
