Not a cover. Just wanted to draw her. Will be painting this in gouache and acrylic. For pieces such as this which need a lot of planning, I do a digital sketch first, then trace it with pencil on the paper using either a light pad or a projector 😀

This is my art for the cover of the SDCC 2025 exclusive of "Something is Killing the Children" issue 43 from @boomstudios . Always a treat to draw quiet settings such as this. Working on all the textures was plenty of fun, especially the window 🖤

Just finished the remake of Silent Hill 2 and was blown away. I drew fanart of the bubble head nurse 2 years ago. I wanted to update it with more elements from Mr. Masahiro Ito's design for the remake ❤️. Still thinking deeply about the game and now I need to get all the endings

My Phoenix #5 variant. Tried to capture the memories I had of collecting X-Men trading cards in the early 90s. That awesome feeling of excitedly sorting my haul of new cards on the drive home from the comic book shop. Wanted the warmth of those feelings to shine through here.

Reworked an old piece of Haruka and Michiru. You may prefer the old one and that's okay! However, the 2024 version was what I had in my head in 2018, but I didn't know how to exactly bring that image to fruition just yet. I seem to have been so afraid of color back then haha!

I reviewed some clips of Lilandra from X-Men '97, after someone pointed out her skin tone, and wow was I way off! I'm glad gouache allows me to make these adjustments easily. Also doing some blue color swatch tests for her cloak 😊

Also, I didn't expect the earlier work in progress post of this piece to gain that much attention! Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to comment on and share it. I appreciate it a whole lot 🥰.

The plan was to keep this in black and white, but I took a leap of faith and added colors in 😊
