Response of #Algeria-n authorities was quick: Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalls its Ambassador in France for consultations. Relations between Algeria and France countries were never easy. Considering local politics in both countries, negotiations will be complicated.
Severe & unusual statements by Emmanuel Macron on #Algeria: - On the tight visa restrictions, President Macron said these measures are targeting 🇩🇿 officials. - For Macron, Algeria’s President is struggling with a complex and hard political system. https://t.co/vS7lZgwkNL

It's been at least 3 weeks since #Tunisia's healthcare system is overwhelmed and has partly collapsed (with people dying in front of crowded hospitals). All the international aid that Tunisia got since then is 2 Qatari military planes and 2 Egyptian military planes.

Now that #Algeria-n authorities have jailed journalists, activists, party heads, average protesters & citizens, it would not be surprising for them to jail lawyers as well. Despite having a “legalistic” immunity, lawyers are “annoying” & potentially dangerous for the system.
