Offender is a convicted felon, he suffered injuries to his wrist but @ChiefDavidBrown would not specific further. A weapon was recovered at the scene. @cbschicago

Officer was responding to a domestic call at 1342 W. Taylor in Little Italy when they were shot. Officers did not return fire. Officer was transported to Stroger by another officer- likely saving their life, according to Supt. Brown. @cbschicago

Finally -- finally -- got my PCR test results back from 12/23 just now and it turns out I was negative all along so I've got that going for me which is nice I think?
