When I came out in 2011, I was really struggling w/ my faith, sexuality, & a nervous breakdown. I was at a dive bar in a small town in Maine w/ my then girlfriend, & a stranger came up to me & randomly said “I’m Mormon, your love is beautiful, & God loves you the way you are.”
