"jiang zongzhu," lwj called once again, now in a whisper, almost in disbelief. his amber eyes were burning bright. pale lips curved into a faint smile. "—cheng-ge," he murmured, as a faint dust of red bloomed on his cheeks. somewhere in the back, jc heard the sound of choking.

lwj regained his balance. he glanced to the side, right toward him. it was the same face—the same eyes, lips, and mouth. "jiang zongzhu," lwj breathed out, his happiness was palpable. jc stared. gone were the snowy robes, this lwj seemed to prefer white and lilac colors now.

mind racing, he strode toward the location—right in the middle of lotus hall—with his second in command following closely. then he stopped dead in his tracks. the tall figure in the middle of the hall overlapped with lanky figure of a teenage boy he had seen three years prior.
