The wait is over! For the next two days, #Neshuro is the place to be as we celebrate our rich food heritage and cultural diversity at the District Food & Seed Festival!. This annual event is more than just a celebration, its a platform where farmers and consumers meet.

Most of the weir dams we constructed in Mwenezi are filling up. These water sources will sustain irrigation and livestock production during the dry season. Water harvesting is key for community resilience.

Through the Zambuko Livelihoods Initiative, we are promoting the production of drought-tolerant crops. Drought Tolerant crops help farmers have ✅Food security: farmers have food to eat. ✅Income: farmers earn a living. ✅Resilience: farmers adapt to climate change.

Meet Easter Machavi, a 32-year-old poultry farmer from Chiredzi. Through @UsaidZimbabwe funded #SCRI Activity, she received 20 Sasso day-old chicks, and she now has more than 100 chickens. Easter sells eggs and chicks to support her family's financial needs.

Mamuka sei?? Sophia Mukotosi has just finished feeding their chickens at the Dikondo Community Garden in #Masvingo. Chicken production is part of our resilience-building initiatives in the Chiredzi, Mwenezi, and Masvingo districts. They are a source of income and protein
