Fans want to celebrate that our favorite team is being taken over by hedge fund billionaires but personally I as a life long lakers fan took pride in the fact that my favorite team was owned by a family. The culture Dr. Buss created was unique and I will miss it.

Joey and Jesse Buss have pretty consistently over the last decade been the best running part of the Lakers organization. Who knows what caused this, and obviously the sale of the team was going to have ripple effects, but this is a loss for the team
