The puck has been dropped for my final season in the stripes. I'll be grateful for every game.

Now to finish recovering so I can resume training in August, cross blades with some of you in the coming season, and see all of you again in Portland. Fence well!

To the Olympians, veterans, adult athletes, and my future college fencers: it's a pleasure to spend time with you. Coaches: be proud of your athletes: they had a good week here.

I wasn't able to compete this year, but I ended up on the finals strip of Vet 60 men's epée anyway.

Grateful to @PennMedicine: the surgery and anesthesia teams, urology, cardiology, nursing, PT, and all the other staff who helped make it possible for me to referee all ten days of @USFencing Summer Nationals.
