As we celebrate 100 years of the Freedom Tower today, I couldn’t be more proud of the work @MDCollege is doing—as stewards of this National Historic Landmark—to restore and reopen the building during what will be an incredible Centennial Year.
On this day in 1925, the Freedom Tower opened its doors as the home of The Miami Daily News. 100 years later, it remains a symbol of Miami’s enduring spirit. We look forward to reopening the Tower in September as we continue to celebrate its Centennial Year.
