📣 | Spring Statement. We agree with both the encouraging funding for foster carers and finding suitable homes for those in care, as well as the concerns regarding disability welfare cuts for care leavers who are often already at greater risk of insecurity and poverty.
📣 We welcome the announcement in the #SpringStatement of funding to recruit 400 more foster carers, providing more homes for children in care. But we're still deeply concerned about the impact proposed disability welfare cuts will have on care leavers.
