Another useful report is R206, which gives you district-level electoral results for recent statewide elections. For example, here's report R206 for the 2024 elections.

Here’s an example of the CVAP report for the current congressional map.

You can also pull up a number reports (either as pdfs or excel files). One of the more helpful is report labeled “r_116_ACS1923’” - which shows the citizen voting age population of each district by ethnicity.

On the data page, you’ll have a long list of options, including an option to download the shapefiles for the map.

Now for the data. Next to the plan number at the top, there is a square with a northeastern pointing arrow. Click on that, and it will take you to the data page.

When you get to the district, you’ll have the option to switch to a view that helpfully shows political subdivisions.

On the upper right-hand side, you’ll note a magnifying glass icon with a # symbol. Click on that and it will pull down a list of districts. Click on the district you want, and it will zoom in.

Click on the map you want and it will pull up a zoomable version of the map. This is the current congressional map (Plan C2193).

(You can also find past plan proposals as well as plans that are part of the ongoing map litigation.).

On the following page, plans are grouped into several categories. Plans introduced in the special will be in a subcategory for “89(1)” (the ‘1’ meaning the first special session of the 89th legislature).
