My favourite player of all - Happy Birthday Baz, or Ches as we once called him after Chesney Hawkes whose song The One and Only was a huge hit. Of all Hampshire batsmen only Jesty, Gower and Vince come close aesthetically but none - other than GG - touch you for sheer quality.
Happy Birthday to Hampshire legend, Barry Richards 🎉. In 1968, his first season at Hampshire, Richards scored 2395 runs which was more than anyone else in the country 🙌. What a player he was 💪
