There's no right or wrong answer solutions in tech. There are appropriate tools and approaches for your context. As techies, oftentimes, we just want to go in and solve a problem. But without the proper context we might be solving the wrong problem.

It's not about following an agile framework or ✅ on a bunch of stuff. It's about being agile, i.e. being able to learn and adapt as quickly as possible. It doesn't matter if you follow Scrum or Kanban or other framework. If you can't learn and adapt quickly, you're not agile.

Would you put your money in a bank you know wasn't secure?. I bet you wouldn't. Security isn't a non-functional requirement: it's a feature. Same thing with reliability. And, as features, they need to be understood and prioritised accordingly.
