I will just repeat that if a team goes into the 8th or 9th inning and decide to use a position player like Colorado has done that the game be declared over. You are giving up if you bring in a position player.

I have a tough time disagreeing with this take.
The point of the CFP is to prove it on the field & earn your spot. We should do away completely with preseason polls. If writers, bloggers etc want to release polls fine. All teams should start unranked and earn it on the field. Make the CFP committee release polls all season.

Something not really being mentioned in the impressive #Riders win was the play of Mario Anderson. Had almost 50 yds on 5 carries. I liked the fact team brought him back after Carey injury. Was big on his signing when it was announced before camp.
