Working on the @Dinotracker videos with the models @ILMVFX created for the movie has been like a dream come true. We want to do a more extensive making of about it in a future, but meanwhile here is a sneak peak from the first video I did for the campaign (Thread! 👇)

It’d be pretty cool to see those Velociraptors back in a Jurassic World sequel...

I could finish the new Walking with Dinosaurs series and honestly, it was... disappointing. It doesn’t feel anything like the original, the scenes with the paleontologists feel unnecessary and the VFX leave a lot to be desired. My hopes are on Surviving Earth and Tim Haines 🤞

A small detail that we added to the video (and I'm not sure if anyone noticed) was that the video system, "VIDnet", is the same one that appeared in Jurassic Park when Dennis Nedry receives a call from one of Lewis Dodgson's agents at Isla Nublar's dock

I didn't manage to post it directly at the time but I had the opportunity to create this Quetzalcoatlus video for the marketing of Jurassic World: Rebirth. It was a challenge to make 30min of video in a way that didn't end up being repetitive, but I had a great time working on it

A fun fact about this Baryonyx video for Dinotracker is that I had to record several takes of myself running and hiding in a hill in downtown Malaga (which ended up being Mexico). A couple walked by mid-take… probably still wondering what that crazy guy was doing 😅

Since I saw JW: Rebirth, I was curious about how the book scene in Jurassic Park would have looked. This might give you an idea:

24 years since the premiere of Jurassic Park 3... With its good and bad things, I’ll always have a soft spot for this movie

11 years, 4 Jurassic World movies... it's been an incredible adventure creating all this content, especially because of the people I've been able to share it with

In my opinion, I would have completely eliminated the Velociraptor scene to add more mystery to the Mutadon revelation, playing with the idea that it could be a Velociraptor by only showing its silhouette and foot claw until it opens its wings https://t.co/UaGXVsRX39

Another perspective on the T. Rex from a video I made a while ago:

It's normal to focus mainly on the creature effects, but what impressed me the most about Jurassic World: Rebirth (largely due to professional bias 😆) is how @davidvickery and the @ILMVFX team have mastered water simulations. Really impressive work 👏

Just watched Jurassic World: Rebirth and... I'm definitely not the target audience for this movie. That said, the rex looks amazing 🦖
