After a month or so of reading and writing, here is my full, critical (but I hope fair) review of @AndrewRillera’s Lamb of the Free. It is long (15k words) so maybe print it? But I think his forceful argument merits it. (Also do not miss the footnotes.) Link below:

It’s really not your fault. Let me just say that if you were right in front of Nebuchadnezzar and he told you that he would throw you into a furnace, you would not have reason to say “but if you do not”. There would not have been a scenario where the king would change his mind
