Unsure why👇🏽an unpopular opinion—the sheer cacophony of #KantaraChapter1, w/ all the storytelling done through a mysterious narrator, while the film itself is simply a series of overlong, repetitive sequences, must be mentioned; especially, if you got a throbbing headache, no?

How far can you throw the ball to fetch the imagination? Aditya Satpotdar’s Thamma, that’s opened in theatres, blasts off with the year 323 BC! That’s when, apparently, Alexander theGreat, from Greece, through Egypt, is invading India. And a ‘betaal’, in short, a desi vampire,

As a film-buff’s filmmaker, Paul Thomas Anderson (PTA) has perhaps only one real Hollywood rival, from among his ’90s, off-kilter, ‘VHS-generation’ contemporaries. And that’s Quentin Tarantino. Both, blessed with an ear for music, have remained equally careful/conservative with

I suspect Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000-24, HBO) sorta set the tone/template for minimally surveying showbiz freelancers, going about their day, like any other, in Hollywood/LA. For, what’s even Seth Rogen in The Studio (2025, Apple TV), but Larry, in his own way; no?

@mayankw14 @ArshadWarsi @akshaykumar @modassir8055 @subkapoor The lines from the song 'ऐ वतन तू क्यों हमारा, क्यों हुआ न.. क्यों हुआ न…' encapsulate everything about the film. I loved what you have written for the same reasons and hope that this film succeeds and is seen by many more people.
