Why is AI so polarizing? I don't get why so many people are either in the "omg AI is amazing, do everything with it" or "wow, this thing is total bs, avoid it like fire" camps. For me, gen AI can already be a great assistant and help with many tasks. And yeah, 100%, it can also

Google will win the AI race. No matter if Gemini 3 is way better than the GPT models or "just a very good model" ... thanks to AI mode, the 80% that still use Google don't have a reason to switch to ChatGPT I think. And Google builds their own chips, heavily optimized for

I'm really not sure. Gemini 3 may be capable for vibe coding but my last ~5 hours of using it for AI-assisted coding have been kind of ... difficult. Lots of errors, horrible design, poor instruction following. Not impressed thus far.

Anybody using Cursor's "Agents" mode (you know the new one added with 2.0)? I find myself sticking to the "old" editor + agent mode instead

Building UI components with AI is underrated. I really like ShadCN but in most of my recent projects / demos, I build my own UI components with React Aria and AI. Super simple and fast - and makes it a bit easier to finetune those components to my specific requirements. Maybe

So Amazon is cutting 14,000 jobs because “this generation of AI is the most transformative technology we’ve seen since the Internet.” Can’t wait to see how many more companies suddenly decide to become “more lean” to “move faster for customers.”
