Spun up a Next.js app on AWS Amplify with envs, branch deploys, and auto CI/CD, worked surprisingly well. You know, just in case Vercel wakes up one day and says āweāre not doing again.ā or unbearable pricing. Better to know it and not need it than to need it and not know it.

Friday project moving along using @kirodotdev to create a shadcn/ui version of the Amplify Authenticator connected component (not official) It's a good opportunity to make use of the new @ChromiumDev DevTools MCP for verifying requirements and component states in-browser.

Took a break from Next.js and came back to a good ole Python/Flask app using Elastic Beanstalk. Havenāt used Beanstalk since 2018 and the EB CLI came back to me pretty fast. Didnāt need any EB extensions and it deployed on the first try! Used the Gemini Nano Banana API too
