God of War is our interpretation of mythology, not history—Norse or Greek. We tell a personal story with the backdrop of gods, Giants, etc. through our lens. 5/11

Mimir: Rooted in Norse mythology, in GoW he's Scottish. "Mimir" is the name he took when coming to Midgard, and we tied him to a character from English folklore (and specifically, from one of Shakespeare's plays).

I've worked just as hard on failures as I have on successes. Shipping a game is a complex, incredibly difficult endeavor. When one fails, it's not because developers didn't work hard. There are *people* behind these things. Stop acting like it's a faceless brand and be human.
Still haven’t found a way to comprehend how anyone who claims to like video games can also revel in their failures with bizarre, giddy excitement. I want all games to be good. It is a huge bummer when they are not.

You can't "race-swap" a character that belongs to a species encompassing: a person made of stone, various wolves, a guy with 8 arms, and a huge snake. Jötnar have no one race.

Well, my son’s finally big enough to wear the awesome “Future Warrior” shirt provided by my other family at

. So much of my writing for

came from this little guy (the hopes and fears I have for him), so in a real sense, he truly was part of the Dev Team.

Sunny's growth as a performer has been incredible to bear witness to. From 8 years old to 16 and beyond, his thoughtfulness and ability to stay in the moment gave us the faith that he could not only be a part of great moments, but carry them as well. The future is bright!
