I remember reading on here that the other clubs were stunned by the way Arsenal had been so quick & aggressive the way they’d approached this transfer window. A few weeks later Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool have all strengthened their squads while Arsenal have signed nobody.

This is satire but highlights the predicament that the Premier League is now in. When you lose integrity of competition - the only way is down. Premier League is now a declining asset. And it's going to deplete faster than anyone anticipates.
Man City have now spent over £100m this summer on players, to add to the £180m in January. Meanwhile at Premier League HQ… .

Partey was available all season but there is no way he reached 22/23 levels of performance. We forgave a lot of mistakes in lieu of availability too. Squad player and new deal should reflect that standing vs integral starter.
