Which is why we are setting up the Elgol and Strathaird Development Trust. Designed to develop new homes, create local employment and progression opportunities, promote our cultural and educational heritage, and manage the impact of tourism on our environment

As a Skye resident, too much of the existing tourist impact is extracted out of our local economies and communities. We need to manage tourism more effectively and ensure it brings local economic, social, cultural and environmental benefits.
