This tour has shown that conclusively that the Lions coach shouldn’t be the head coach of one of the 4 nations. So my hot take is that the head coach for NZ in 2029 should be…. RASSIE ERASMUS. Just imagine the chaos, the banter, how fired up that team will be. It makes sense.

Tour conclusion: Farrell is nowhere as good a coach as anyone thinks he is and the Lions should appoint a head coach from outside the home nations. He played favourites throughout and his strategy was dull dull dull.

If we take Farrell at face value and Sione wasn’t fit, why on earth did he not start Jr at 12 with Jones at 13? Aki has been worse than useless. 5-3 bench with Marcus Smith and VDM would’ve made a lot more sense.

Wallabies in control, Lions pack on reverse roller skates, Ryan utterly anonymous. Remind me why Cummings isn’t in the 23? Oh yes, he’s not Irish.

To be fair, he seems to know his stuff and was as bamboozled by Chris Cadden’s booking as everyone else. Ref seems well out of his depth.

Absolutely honest and selfless from Ringrose, no doubt about it, but would expect nothing less from a modern pro. However, AF was prepared to drop Jones as well as Tuipulotu? Did he not notice that the Lions massive drop off in the 1st Test was when he took Finn and Sioje off?.

And Porter, who has been absolutely mince on tour, and that is being charitable.

Final confirmation that AF is just playing his favourites. Ryan over Cummings 🤦‍♂️ Disrupting the Scottish triumvirate midfield 🤯Bunch of nonsense. How Lowe remains in the team is a mystery.

They’ve done this all afternoon and were even showing it before he had started his round. Not done it for any other golfer.

Upgraded to @SkySports for the Lions tour and have enjoyed the golf this week, but the repeated breach of scoring protocol today has driven me bananas. McIlroy should be showing under MacIntyre and Schauffele as his round is still in progress.

Notice that @lionsofficial haven’t confirmed the call up being talked about. Maybe they’ve realised replacing a wing/centre/FB w/ an aging 10/12 who hasn’t played international rugby since the World Cup, hasn’t played at all in 2 months and stinks of nepotism isn’t a great idea.
