Leaving now with some fond reluctance. Last report is a day of subbing in grade six humanities. I can safely say that they continue to be a fun lot.

Stepping in, sharing information, celebrating, making space for community, spreading joy and ear worms.

Walking about, discussing how to ensure teachers are working with students optimally, chatting with folks about successes and challenges, discussing emergency responses and looking at sets of student sel data.

Trying to close some tabs before break next week - never too far from email and the phone however. Some things seem Sisyphean.

Trying to ascertain the platforms longevity as a story teller… working to make data and the time to collect it valuable, hanging out with kindergarten students, planning community schools, cross school collab, and some family connections.

Chatting with families, crossing the midline with the k crew, communicating with families, editing with students, talking about the importance of comprehensive sel data sets with some kids, and scheduling fun.

Flexible learning environments, lots of chatting about intersecting community, schools and after-school, prepping for mentoring, meeting with families at school and at home, collaborating with community partners and wrapping up the unveiling of our ambassador program.
