The two divers in this video (Hudson Pinheiro and I) never saw the massive Sixgill Shark hovering above us. We were distracted chasing a beautiful fish. This is how most shark encounters go, sharks see you, you don't see them, nothing happens. #SharkAwarenessDay #SharkWeek

Joined the CDFW for clam surveys this weekend! On top of measuring hundreds of gaper clams, we also saw some crabs & moon snails. The best part was that I was able to use my Chinese to communicate to the general public 🙌 rad!
