Thanks to @hardyjuls for the outstanding cover design. The book is free to read online - appropriate for a book that arguging that democratic politics is co-shaped by its interfaces. Buying a hard copy will help sustain our work, though (and it will look lovely on your shelves)

For the workshop we invite wild, inflamed writing, where contributors put into words something that is impossible to say through traditional academic formats. There are no constraints on topic or form. We encourage incomplete pieces.

We take inspiration from Audre Lorde: ‘I am going to write fire until it comes out of my ears, my eyes, my noseholes--everywhere. Until it's every breath I breathe. I'm going to go out like a f**king meteor!’ ("Burst" 76 -77)

Through this workshop we seek to unbind contributors from the constraints of scholarly writing, and explore if and how writing can make a difference to a troubled world.
