This is why we are working with our friends in the #moleg to pass stricter laws on fleeing. Valentine's Law will be in honor of our fallen brother, who was killed by someone fleeing a lawful stop on December 1, 2021.
"We do need stronger laws when it comes to fleeing from the #police. … It is no different than firing a gun into a crowd or anything else," said Executive Assistant Chief Larry Satterwhite with the #Houston #Police Department. #OfficerMagazine

The next few days will show who truly supports Law Enforcement in the Senate and who just wants to use a logo for their campaign literature. The resignation is a start but there is more work to be done to prevent this situation from happening again. #moleg

More and more instances of suspects producing firearms during police interactions. Many caught on body/dash cam. Suspect on probation for pleading guilty to a gun charge. Still carrying an illegal gun. If in jail, he’d be alive. Who are the soft on crime policies helping?
Police said a man was apprehended after a foot chase in Weldon Spring. He then brandished a firearm while resisting arrest.
