For everything you learn, learn the building block for the thing you just learned. Trace back why you like the thing, and learn the thing that made the thing you like.

I was trying to boot an old intel MacBook Pro. None of the LLMs suggestions were working. Buried in a forum from 5 years ago. A comment from "Crack O'Deal" with the solution. Classic.

Software engineers shouldn't fear being replaced by AI. They should fear being asked to maintain the sprawling mess of AI-generated legacy code their employer's systems will soon run on. Because that one will actually happen.

Does anyone actually want to be 10x more productive with LLMs? I want to be a 1x productive with 10x less tedious work. I don’t think anyone wants a 10x workload increase.

> You reached your goal of $500 per month in sponsorships! My mind can't comprehend this. It's insane that so many people willingly sponsor OSS. Thanks to everyone who sponsors AeroSpace! https://t.co/T8MbYTZtNj

GenAI isn't just a technology; it's an informational pollutant—a pervasive cognitive smog that touches and corrupts every aspect of the Internet. It's not just a productivity tool; it's a kind of digital acid rain, silently eroding the value of all information. Every image is no

I really don't know why people are whining about gpt-oss. I'm using 120b for real work and other than being overly structured and prudish, I've no problem. And I appreciate the innovation in the chat template. (Which was a happy bonus of this release) Finally - it's open

I see three attitudes towards AI in tech: 1. Juniors: extremely scared because AI can do much more than them 2. Seniors: highly skeptical because AI is often wrong 3. Other Seniors: highly productive because they know how to leverage AI efficiently

It is almost comical now how many times I ask o3 and Sonnet 4 for a plan to do something. Then I have them review each others, and Sonnet always says o3’s plan is way better than its own (it usually is)
