The entire trajectory of the trade is different if Kawhi doesn’t tear his acl in 2021. Clips make the finals, and the Thunder wouldn’t have been able to draft Williams in 2022.
Sometimes a franchise is just cursed.
Why? You make that trade 10/10 times. No one could've foreseen this level of unreliability from Kawhi/PG over the next 5 years.

The longer the series went between the Clippers/Mavs, the more you felt like it was going in the Mavericks favor.
The Clippers were too old, shorthanded, and wasted their initial punch in the mouth during Game 1. Really needed to win Game 2 or 3 while Luka/Kyrie were cold.
