This International Day of the Girl, I am taking time to reflect on some of the inspiring girls I have been blessed to meet across the Commonwealth. Let’s celebrate the strength, resilience, and brilliance of these girls in our lives today and every day! #mapoli

Great time speaking with residents of Attleboro! It was a packed room of concerned citizens coming out to hear about the work of the Office of State Auditor—and resoundingly supportive of our efforts to audit the state legislature. #mapoli

My office recently swore in Dr. Alan Sager & Brent Benson to serve new terms on the Center for Health Information and Analysis Oversight Council. The duty to ensure transparent & equitable health care is a critical responsibility and I thank them for their public service. #mapoli

We need to lessen inequities, not increase them. Working class communities deserve transparency and fairness but aren’t getting it from the utility companies. Change the status quo — now, not later #mapoli

State Senator Ed Kennedy’s passing is a heartbreaking loss of a dedicated public servant and one of Lowell’s greatest champions. I was lucky enough to call him a colleague, friend, and mentor. His legacy will be full of advocacy, accomplishments, and inspiration.

Working families are getting shafted by the utility companies’ poor stewardship of Mass Save—placing a heavier financial burden on the backs of working and lower-income families. Beyond past time for change. #mapoli

What’s on your utility bill? Read our report on how lower income & Gateway City residents are hurt by the utility companies’ current Mass Save structure, which—contrary to its mission—widens inequality, erodes economic justice and deepens environmental justice challenges. #mapoli
