9. Minghini: guy seems like a real homie . Hope he’s getting a real adrenaline rush, you can tell he fucking lives for it. Looks like his rail having a healthy amount of fun, but they’ll really be turning it up.

8. Hendrix: don’t know Adam personally but anytime I’ve had super random questions (like who did the cotton candy wrap on his Tesla?), he’s been friendly to answer. As a fellow journeyman, you’d love to see someone get their’s. Can only fathom his future swag.

7. Bojovic: nothing against the good dr. , actually cool to see someone dedicate themselves to a hobby and find success…but too many good stories to root for the guy spouting gym, meditation, stretching and wearing a pokercode patch. Poker dgaf about your routines. NEXT.

6. Lee: if you think a woman winning would ignite a poker boom, imagine what a rec from Korea would do. Wsop seeing biggest % increases from Asia, and this guy has already pledged some of his winnings to grow poker back home in Korea (where GG originated). Mammaa miaaaa.

5. Mizrachi: what a legend. King of the streets. Unconventional poker but who cares, all it takes is confidence. Hope someone forces him to get a little sleep before tomorrow. It’s time to keep making history. What an epic summer/career. DW, Rhino will be open after you win.

2. Kenny: a pro we can all get behind. Been a huge boost to game already, has helped so many for years. Online legend, sensible TD, loves a good vino. Would love to get an invite to the post FT dinner (I hooked him up with a shitty meal in Brazil half a lifetime ago.).

Opinions, In order of seat draw: . 1. Margets: likable for years, my 1st EPT Barc she was on Stars yacht with the qualies. Authentic emotion, great for the game. Fact she’s a woman just a bonus. My wife doesn’t even play poker but we’ll be screaming “JOTAAAA” for years to come.

Overheard pilot talking to flight attendant . The average adjustment weight per passenger used to be 165lbs. It’s 210 now.

Asian women in poker tournaments under $2000 are the most unpredictable player archetype out there.

How is Southwest Airlines going to survive charging for bags, when a Big Front on Spirit costs less money than the standard fare at SW?.

Hoping that finals like todays match will drive more of my middle aged friends into playing tennis . Really is no better sport to play or watch.

The neighbors were great. The guy with the baby had like $12 leftover in an unused account and won the first $4 180 he played. He ended up regging the 109 main, making day2 and missing work. He had no interest in our help , he just wanted an escape to be surrounded by poker.

There wasnt much to do in the village, luckily the only restaurant there had a Michelin star , and one horse was a great chef ! There was an overlapping WPT in Amsterdam, so we had other friends come out to join the grind. Love to look back on the past, some really fun times.

This was early in the days of solvers. My friend had gone from MSNL to battling 50/100 HU in a couple of months and was showing us how to use SPF. I’d go to sleep after a long days grind and get 2, MAYBE 3 sims running at once overnight.

At the time I had no idea this would be the last series I’d grind away from home surrounded by other players. Everyday we would eat, sleep and breath poker. We had cookouts, fed the ducks on breaks, went fishing, and turned our neighbor with a baby into a degen nightly after work.

10 years ago I was 8 months into running a stable. Booked few wks in a boat house halfway between Utrecht-Amsterdam with 2 horses and a friend to grind poker series. Was a good time, almost surreal. Nobody did great during the stay, but it started a heater for all of us after
