I watched the Scheifele hit on Evans from all angles and all speeds. Such a dangerous hit with only purpose to hurt a player. Scheifele is a great player but hit like that shouldn’t be part of the game. I would think this will be an in-person (zoom) hearing going 5 plus at least.
I don't know if Krueger is the one responsible for this but the
@BuffaloSabres
are playing at a high level of skills. Spin-o-ramas, behind back passes, long breakaway passes, long cross ice passes. It's a beautiful thing.
Losing sucks. Losing to the Leafs sucks. Losing 4 after winning 10 in a row sucks. But going 10-2-2 in the last 14 and the way the Sabres played tonight doesn’t suck.
For me, way past his coaching record over the last couple of years, Phil's inability to adjust his system to the type of team he had, his head scratching roster decisions and his inconsistent message after games is what lead to this decision in my opinion.
What I looked like the last time the Bills won the AFC East?? This is a picture taken when I played my first games in the NHL in 1995!! 25 years is a long time but so much fun to support this team.

I am extremely excited and honored to announce that I have committed to playing D1 hockey and serve my country at West Point Military Academy! Thank you to all my coaches, teammates, trainers, and especially my family for helping me get there

This is a legendary speech by Brind'Amour about memories and what you got after your done. Playing for each other, the special moments, those feelings that stay with you forever. It was a crazy night for Ayres but he will have those memories forever!!!
Binnington is a great goalie. Couldn’t find his game in the Return To Play. He will be fine moving forward, and still has a Stanley Cup, which a lot of us don’t!!
When playing at World Championships, IIHF doesn’t allow media in the locker rooms. I have to say as a player it was awesome. We just sat around after games, cracked open a couple of cold beers and just talked about the game. Nobody was in a rush to leave. Great team bonding!!
Starting today,
#NHL
plans to close dressing room access to media, on recommendation of Centers for Disease Control in effort to stop the spread of coronavirus. NBA, MLB and MLS are expected to follow. Media availabilities will now be conducted in formal press conference areas.
I know I cover the Sabres but if I had to vote for GM of the year so far it would definitely go to Jason Botterill. Bringing in Skinner alone would put him in the discussion, but with Hutton, Sheary and the St-Louis trade he is front runner in my opinion.
I’m excited to announce that I’ve teamed up with
@keybank
to donate $10,000 to the Miracle League of WNY. It’s one of many things we’re working on to help our region through this crisis. Stay tuned for more on how we’re supporting you to get through this together!

A small detail but I think the Canucks did an amazing job when pulling their goalie twice. Don’t pull your goalie after you already have gone up the ice, pull your goalie before going up the ice so you have 6 skaters out there to retrieve the puck.
Jack Campbell was really good in this series even tho he gave up a bad goal in gm 7, he didn’t get the offensive support he played with in the regular season. He didn’t lose a game giving up 2 goals or less all season, and lost gm 1 and gm 7 giving up only 2 goals in each games.
The man that drafted me into the Buffalo Sabres, which changed my life forever. I still remember the last time I saw and talked to him at our Alumni Golf Tournament. My condolences to the Muckler family and thank you “Mucks” for making my dream of playing in the NHL come true.
Thank you to the
@BuffaloSabres
for this amazing opportunity to work as a studio analyst. Thank you to the crew at the arena and in studio that make my job so much easier, and to
@duffersabres
,
@robray32
,
@Dan_Dunleavy
and RJ for being the best teammates anyone could ask for.
I will say this. I can be an idiot as well. I absolutely LOVE the passion of the fans here in Buffalo. I get emotionally involve as well with our show here
@TheInstigators
. I wish we could sit sown with all the fans and grab a few wobbly pops and talk about everything.
Wow. I guess they must have felt Rask wasn’t gonna be able to come across but to me it doesn’t matter, contact was made and in my opinion should’ve been overturned.
Connor Hellebuyck has secured the first William M. Jennings Trophy for the
@NHLJets
! 🛩️
This trophy is awarded to the goalie(s) (min. 25 games played) for the team with the fewest goals against during the regular season.

Askarov (Russian goalie) takes a player stick after losing his. NEVER, EVER, EVER take a player’s stick if you lose your goalie stick. It’s more important to have all players with full equipment to handle the puck and defend. Goalies can handle no stick situation for a while.
My beautiful friend Isabella, who was the star of our
#BaldforBucks
commercial, received some bad news that her cancer has relapsed. Her family said it would be ok to put on twitter and I know she would love words of love from all of you. We are all with you sweetheart. XO
Thank you for such a great honor. It was always a dream of mine to play in the NHL and the Amerks gave me the chance to mature and learn what I needed to succeed. Some of my best hockey memories were in Rochester.
Campbell wasn’t a big man but that was a perfectly timed hit. No elbow and no jump. Would it be a penalty in today’s game? Yes because of the impact of the hit. But even in today’s game that was “unavoidable” head contact.

It’s hard to see the full puck in Andersen’s glove so I understand why this is not a goal. The need for puck sensors to know if the puck fully crossed the line would be great for those kinds of situations.
True story;
Because I used to wander out of my crease often and got my teammates in trouble once or twice,
@71jpdumont
got me a 10 foot dog leash and velcro to hook myself to the net as a Secret Santa present at our team’s Christmas Party!!!
Jeff Skinner is amazing on his edges. It looks like he’s about to fall on his butt on both pictures, on the left at LAK Oct 20th and on the right side tonight, but he actually gains speed on the pivot and scores on both plays!!
I got cut from the team and it was awful. The last four cuts in December of 1995: Jay McKee, Daniel Brière, Daniel Cleary and myself. It was simply a bump on the road for us and it is simply that for all of them as well.
👊 to the kids who got cut from Team Canada. Tough any year, doubly so after 14 days stuck in their hotel rooms, and not getting a chance to show their stuff in the cancelled U Sports games. As deep a camp roster as ever. The cuts would have made a great Team Canada. Heads high.
Be on the look out tomorrow for a big announcement from the . I am so excited to show you guys how awesome my goalie training and dance moves have improved with the help of coach
@TreWhite16
. Here’s a small sample.

I watched bits and pieces of the Sabres game but to be honest I was busy watching my son play his very first Varsity Hockey game tonight and they did awesome. A big win for
@EastAuroraHSNY
as well as the
@BuffaloSabres
!!
The referees were going to call delay of game on Risto. McDavid had the refs convinced it was a penalty. Then James Neal came over and confessed he deflected the puck out of play. NO PENALTY. McDavid was not happy with Neal!!! Still 2-2 here with 5 minutes left.
I just asked my 16 year old goalie son what to do if you lose your stick?? He answered I grab one of my defenseman’s stick!! NOOOOOO!! I’m failing as a father!!
It’s Miller Time for life. This is just the end of a playing career, I’m sure there’s much more great things for Millsy coming up in the future.
Congrats on one heck of a career and thanks for letting me use that red CCM catching glove!!!
