What's next? Today, you still need to be quite involved in the process. By giving Databutton its own browser, it can systematically self-test larger workflows and become even more autonomous.

Orienting around a set of tasks gives the agent a fantastic "context-holder" to stay on topic and be self-sufficient for longer periods. Then reach out to another agent, the user, or human-in-the-loop when stuck or in need of input.

There are cheap models with large context windows, strong reasoning models that are fairly cheap, and excellent code-writing models. It's not obvious why you can't replicate a really, really good freelancer as a product.

How is this possible? sonnet 3.5 is widely regarded as the best developer even after the recent o1/o3/deepseek reasoning rush. However, it's often writing the correct code for the wrong problem. Reasoning to the rescue.
