Looking forward to Public Policy Exchange seminar on digital transformation in the NHS, 12 Sept: . I'll argue 'Transformation' is about reforming the operating model at structural level, not about simply giving 'legacy' government more tech to play with!

Just did a short video on how we might be able to modernise public services and drive £billions to the front line. WBG to develop a playbook for how this might be done. ?.

Looking forward to my talk tomorrow at the LGA standards session I don't claim to be an expert in LG service standards but it's possible to see the woods for the trees. which is the need for radical sectoral reform using digital standards!

Excited to be here at ICTO2024 Paris looking at augmented intelligence for smarter societies - my keynote tomorrow will be on importance of engaging with all dimensions of human experience - not just the cognitive - if we want to build a AI-enabled world that's worth living in!

Really looking forward to keynoting TechUK's Local Public Services Innovation Summit 12 June. I only have 15 mins so no time to mess about: we need to talk about replatforming the sector. 'Tis time.

Higher fees or funding is a false choice! We could re platform the lot and run them all on a single digital spine. Much better services, would save £billions.

This is one of the most informative, disquieting, and human accounts of the existential human-technology dilemma I have ever seen. Highly recommend.
