Dear @SelfBuildDesign - Why does this recent feature promoting log burners not mention either indoor or outdoor pollution, & the associated serious well evidenced health impacts? The strongest relevant comments are fluffy words about how they can be eco friendly. Not.

Shutting school windows is a) bad for pupil achievement because it increases carbon dioxide levels and transfer of viruses and b) does not keep outdoor pollution…out. Air pollution also spikes when fireworks are used locally.

Dear @KellysIceCream. Why in the 21st century do ice cream van diesel engines idle for endless hours polluting the air for those around…all completely unnecessarily? Freezer boxes can easily be kept chilled with appropriate battery technology. Cheaper to run, clean, silent.

From my time in industry I was drilled quite correctly that “quality” is defined as “meeting or exceeding customer needs”. I’d argue most people want to breathe healthy air and live a long healthy life. This company fails the test dismally.
