It's one thing to sit idle as food benefits are paused, it's another to actively try to remove food benefits that have already gone out. The world is watching the United States destroy itself. https://t.co/g6r6vE3aqA

The U.S. Department of Agriculture directed states to roll back any steps taken to issue full food aid benefits to low-income Americans or risk financial penalties.

I largely abandoned "X" after Musk took over but I admit that Grok might be the best tool for fact-checking in social media. Unfortunately it's still too hard to tell the difference between "verified" sources and some guy on his couch. Sincerely, some guy on his couch.

Just saw one of the new @BostonSchools electric buses….the difference in the noise level compared to a traditional idling bus is incredible!

The platform that was breached today also did not contain PII, but this incident will may lead to a district (or another #edtech vendor) being attacked and having to close school in the future. If you aren't going to prioritize #cybersecurity, don't ask to be prioritized. 6/6

I still have arguments with #edtech vendors who do not feel that SSO is a necessary investment for them. They just don't see the value because "they aren't storing PII" or "customers aren't asking for it". I've had this exact conversation with 2 vendors in the last week. 5/6

That means a bad actor will start trying those credentials in other platforms. If you are an #edtech vendor who does not use SSO, at least one of your customers is likely using the platform that was compromised today and YOUR system is now at risk. 4/6

Those who did not use SSO are faced with the ugly reality that many users re-use passwords across systems and that a file of their employee's usernames & passwords could be posted to the dark web someday. 3/6

A company that is widely used in school districts across the US sent out an email to all users in the middle of the night to announce a breach, which included passwords. Some districts use SSO with this platform, others do not. 2/6

Honesty, integrity, and the oath of public service is long gone from our government. It is sad that an entire generation is growing up thinking this is normal. I hope Santos doesn’t resign so we can see if Congress is willing to do the right thing. #SantosArrested
