The three dogs I have had in my life. Hykoka (bottom left), lost to divorce. Tycho Brahe (bottom right) lost to nasopharyngeal cancer. Matigan (top) lost to bone cancer. I have never had a dog more than 6 years. I miss them. Mattie had my heart & was my #SoulDog. #nationaldogday

This story concerns me. Where did the hot cesium originate? More to the point, radioactive contamination does not glow in the dark (at least, very rarely). Shrimp can become contaminated by bioluminescent bacteria and glow in the dark. Not the same thing.

Learning sterile procedure is not easy. I like this kind of contamination. All of the dilution plates have roughly the same number of pink colonies-therefore, we KNOW it is the diluent that is contaminated. Troubleshooting and repetition IS science. What are the pink colonies??
