got home from 2.5 weeks in England last night, then led a 6-hour zoom meeting today. my eyelids feel like sandbags. time to run out an get a diet coke or a celsius or something.

I needed some info from a book I wrote long enough ago that I didn’t have a digital copy (of the manuscript or the interior), and discovered I didn’t have a copy of the book. I had to buy a copy of my own book on Amazon.

When I take my daily evening walk, I love coming down our street and seeing this lone sunflower in our front yard. I normally forget it’s there, as it’s not facing our house, but it’s like a welcome signal when I’m walking down our street.

It had been WAY too long since we’d hung out. So good to have lunch and spend time today with my dear friend Kurt Johnston.
