JSAE 2025 in Yokohama is coming to its end. Amazing three days full of customer engagement. $seye First a look inside the booth.

7% organic growth, Automotive +27%, licenses >100%. Ten new car models (design wins) and two new OEMs entered production. Minor pullback in Behavioral Research due to uncertainties in US. Cost control bites leading to better EBITDA now and beyond. $seye.

All in all, extremely interesting regarding what’s to come in terms the intersection of Automotive and AI.

Great to finally see Nissan N7, a more affordable electric car compared to Ariya, released in Shanghai with deliveries set to start in China in May. Looks really good, I expect solid sales numbers.

Gen AI, All In One Camera and Cabin Monitoring. Also our demos were shown in Partnership with Forvia and Cerence. DMS and CMS were everywhere, both from Smart Eye and competitors. It’s great to see car models we worked on for years go into production, and here are a few examples:

I’m back from Shanghai Auto Show last week, a really transformative exhibition. The in-car digital experience is developing at lighting speed in China. It’s definitely a must-attend show for Smart Eye. We showed some strong demos in our booth, including Iris Authentication,$seye.

One more design win, this time with an existing European Sports Car OEM, utilizing our DMS system product to meet EU regulatory demands. 50 MSEK revenue, grand total of 365 DW. This is just the beginning. $seye

Polestar 3 Driver Monitoring gets 1.9 out of 2.0 points possible by EuroNCAP. The DMS system, shared with Volvo EX90, is by a wide margin the most advanced in the market currently. Based on dual high resolution cameras, it enables integration with the car’s ADAS system. $seye.

Interior Sensing is starting to accelerate in automotive. This is about measuring the entire cabin. Now three new design wins, from Korea, taking the total up to 364, ten of which cabin monitoring. $seye.
