History is defined by top players pursuing good quests. Today, we are in a crisis. Silicon Valley's best — our top operators, exited founders, and investors — are almost all on bad quests. @traestephens and I write about quests in @PirateWires https://t.co/uJSiqQKvjL

We should choose good quests.  Ones that lead to prosperity for the American worker and a stronger nation.    AI shouldn’t be about frivolous pursuits that further fracture our attention and connection to humanity.  We are a great nation with serious challenges, amongst them the

We asked @traestephens about his "Good Quests" essay with @markiewagner. "Lots of super talented former entrepreneurs took the route of Big Head in Silicon Valley (HBO show) to rest and vest." "That feels like a moral failure of tech. Founders operating on God Mode should focus

This is a poetic post by @traestephens and the @PirateWires team This one is personal for me as Trae and Peter backed my last company @Expanseinc I feel like I can’t post this without calling out the obvious, that I became a VC Now the least I can do is back hard, good quests

1/ History is the record of TOP players completing GOOD quests. This is a moral imperative. Check out the latest @PirateWires post by @markiewagner and I and ask yourself what the world would look like if our best players all took on good quests. https://t.co/ug7p3nY4iA

If ChatGPT is Pong for LLM, this is at least Space Invaders level🤯 - Facts extraction - Automated "Database" creation and population for quantitative questions - Recursive Q&A for qualitative questions 👏@markiewagner @yasyf

To answer a query, we pick the best of three methods. The first two methods use LLMs to create and populate a "database" with relevant metrics to answer a question. The last method uses recursive summarization, summarizing sets of facts to eventually answer the query.

For our best players, these quests are difficult. But for everyone else, they are nearly impossible. Therefore, there is a moral imperative for our best players to choose good, hard quests.

From planes and power plants to medicine and light, the achievements of those men and women who embarked on good quests built the modern world. Are you on a good quest now? Be honest.
