A few weeks ago I wrapped up a project in which I had the opportunity to work with Swift Charts, the SwiftUI framework from Apple for transforming data into awesome visualizations ✨ The knowledge I gained led to this beginner's guide to Swift Charts 📈 https://t.co/Ljx94XHhXB

Let's have a look at Swift Charts and see how we can use it to plot weather data. Apple introduced Swift Charts in iOS 16, and improved it in iOS 17, adding, among others, new chart types. If your app

Agree with everything said +- some details in the bidding process that made it even worse. On the dev side, they didn't even change the package name
Some of the work I'm most proud of, is the work that I did on the DOT Ticket app. We spent so much time and effort and truly caring about every little detail. Today I learned that a new version app has been made. Heres a rant about caring about the details ↓

What if I told you you don't _have_ to keep using UIKit? https://t.co/Pgg3dsJAKi I wrote an article showing how you can use SwiftUI, even if you're working in a UIKit project.

SwiftUI was initially announced 4 years ago, and last year Apple said clearly that the best way to build an app is with Swift and SwiftUI. However, some of us are still working on codebases that were

Getting my current project to run on visionOS was just a matter of selecting the Vision Pro simulator and running it. Now, there's a difference between getting it to run and having an optimal user experience (fonts are quite small 😅), but it's amazingly easy to get started 🤩

We've also updated the Human Interface Guidelines to help you design for visionOS, learn more about spatial inputs and spatial layout, create stunning immersive experiences, and a whole lot more. 🖤 https://t.co/lEMJ7zcmKA

This year I had the honour to be part of the team at @swiftheroes_it that evaluates the talk proposals in their Call for Papers. A few thoughts on it. Ah, who am I kidding, rant time! 🧵

I’m doing a 30% off Black Friday deal for my book “Integrating SwiftUI into UIKit Apps”! The book is a detailed guide on gradually adopting SwiftUI in existing UIKit projects. You can find out more on my website: https://t.co/qd8VjGTce6

I don’t remember ever seeing a 3rd party app mentioned in the release notes of an Apple OS.

I’ve spent a bit less than a day with an Apple Watch and I keep swiping up from the bottom instead of pressing the digital crown to go to the home screen.

And then, from the perspective of somebody using Voice Control. The fact that so much can be achieved with so little effort is impressive. Accessibility Services https://t.co/XVfE19CjtU are excellent at working with 'less than ideal contextual information' scenarios.👏 🧵8/24
