The best supplement is sleep.

If you’re changing your workouts every session, you’re not getting optimal results. I’ve been doing the same “boring” shit for years, and it works. It’s the best way to track progress and actually know what’s working, and what’s not.

When you hear people complaining about getting old, remember, you don’t have to be them. Strength train, eat right, and focus on what you can control. These are probably the same people who once told you that training was bad for your back and knees.

Consistency is hard because it’s boring. It doesn’t give you the quick results you want, and that’s why most people give up. If you can suck it up and stick with it long enough, it ALWAYS pays off.

Getting stronger is fun, but having fun while doing it makes it easier to keep showing up. Ways to keep it fun: -music -training partners -new training environment -friendly competition What else?

At 48, these 3 things keep me feeling my best: 1️⃣ Prioritizing Sleep 2️⃣ Fueling with the right Nutrition 3️⃣ Staying strong through Strength Training 💪 What’s your secret to feeling great at any age?

If you want your kids to start training & eat healthy: 1. Model the behavior. You can’t expect them to do it if you don’t. 2. Make it fun. Jumps & calisthenics teach body control, as opposed to getting under a barbell too early. 3. Be consistent. Make it a part of daily life.

What’s attainable for you strength/physique-wise? Train hard (consistently) and find out.

Goals have value even if you never reach them. I want to hit a 1,000lb total, yet that may never happen. However: 🎯 I’ve gotten stronger. 🎯 My commitment has never wavered & my discipline has only increased. 🎯 I’m thankful for what my body can still achieve.

Competing is: ✅ Fun ✅ Gives your training direction, especially if you lack motivation ✅ Fuels your drive to really push your limits But: ❌ Doesn't define your worth ❌ Isn't the only measure of your dedication

If I pulled some shit on my momma the way #CarleeRussell did, I’d be more scared of the ass beating I’d get from her than the from the social media shit storm that’s coming
