marimo brings your data to life! Select points in a plot and get them back in Python, instantly, with reactive charts. In this data app, a reactive chart lets the user interactively explore the original images backing a 2D embedding of MNIST.

Coding with @ollama is becoming an increasingly legit option when you look at all the models out there these days. That's why we made it easier to configure in marimo, all details are in the video below: https://t.co/cym9iYaC0i

Do you use #Jupyter with #Python #Pandas? You should check out @marimo_io , a notebook that solves many Jupyter's issues. My talk from last month's @PyDataTLV introduced and demo'ed Marimo, with live demos of its features. Take a look:

marimo notebooks have a great editing experience, but you can also run them as web apps, command line applications or as a testing suite! It's unconventional, but understanding this is a huge unlock! So we made a new video to explain it: https://t.co/myaoSkgw7A

Maybe it's less about having "the best LLM" but more about having "the best context" to give to an LLM to really get the most out of a coding agent. And with that in mind, we've been adding some features in marimo! https://t.co/c2GRoLV1XD

I have been talking about @marimo_io for a while, so I finally put my thoughts into a full blog post. I wrote about why I moved to marimo notebooks and how the change fits my daily work.

Publish your notebooks as GitHub gists with a single command. Thanks to our integration with uv, notebook files encapsulate their own dependencies, making it easier than ever for others to reproduce your work.

And today ... you can select embeddings and get them back in Python in VS Code

My PhD thesis was a 100+ page monograph on vector embeddings. When I worked on it, I really wanted embeddings to be tangible: to select points in a 2D embedding, and get the original data back in Python. I couldn't do that in Jupyter ... but you can do it today in marimo.

Silence isn’t submission. Sometimes it’s intelligence. Most people panic when the energy in a room shifts. They rush to talk. Explain. Smooth things over. That’s usually a mistake. When the vibe changes, words don’t restore control they feed the new narrative. Silence does

You can choose to let our extension manage packages for you, with uv. Import a package and you're automatically prompted to install it if it's missing. Dependencies are recorded in script metadata, making your notebooks reproducible down to the packages.
