I typed it wrong. The picture was sold for *only* $ 236.4 million and not $ 336.4 million. So it's *only* Rs 2092 crores. Still, something is wrong when private persons can throw around with hundreds million of dollars and artificially create "value".
Almost 3000 crores (2975 cr or 336.4 $ for the below picture... What is the art market really about? Surely not about the most talented painters.

The most anticipated lot of the evening, Gustav Klimt’s 'Bildnis Elisabeth Lederer (Portrait of Elisabeth Lederer)', has just sold for an astonishing $236.4 million. It now stands as the most valuable work of Modern art ever sold at auction.

you asked what one gets if one accepts Hindu Dharma: Well, fundamental questions about purpose and goal of life are convincingly answered and several paths (Bhakti, Jnana, Karma...) are shown so that we can know our divine nature (Atma is Brahman). But no bag of rice as bribe
@mariawirth1 what a person get if he/she adopt hindu dharma?

Maybe this explains why i am straightforward in my writing... Quotes from video: “For Germans, truth comes first, feelings next, while in Anglo-Saxon culture, feelings come first, truth is optional.” once an Indian who had worked in Germany on submarines, sat next to me in the

You can see it in this rather negative way. But you can see it also positively: Hindu Dharma doesn't need any allurement for gaining 'converts'. Of course, basics of Hindu Dharma need to be known. I encourage you to study it without "help" (distortion) from your ✝️ padres.
@mariawirth1 @VHPDigital Yes. White validation is important to hindus.

Now there may be groups within Hindu Dharma who consider Dwaita and not Advaita as the ultimate truth. no objection. but they need to have solid arguments for their view. and if they don't, they need to accept the view which makes most sense. agreed, the truth doesn't fit into

there is nothing wrong in taking 'idols' as help for devotion, as the absolute Truth is beyond thoughts and can't be imagined. i meant, we didn't explain that Hindus don't do what the Abrahamic religions see as idol worship = worshipping 'other' Gods besides the true God). all
@mariawirth1 @ARanganathan72 Yes there need not be Idol worship, sages use sacred fire, the Brahmins but Not all can focus & Idols create world class sculptures, professions today many Muslims do Idols, it is very important per economy & it is not barred, freedom is given so we expressed in many forms
