On the 5th July, I, along with the rest of my PGCE class celebrated graduation. After a busy year of research, assignments, writing planners, late night laminating, amazing placements and endless online orders, mostly of laminating pouches; I am officially a Primary Teacher 👩🏼‍🏫🍎

Some excellent scientific investigations in Ms Bradley’s P2 class with the children classifying different types of insects and learning about the process of pollination. Fantastic work boys and girls! 🐞🐛🪲

What absolutely fantastic talent the children in Mrs Bryson’s P4 afterschool art club have! During the last week of the club the children were creating their own abstract cubist portraits based on Picasso. Well done everyone! 🎨

On the lead up to Holy Week, P2 have been learning about The Last Supper. I made and introduced these hand painted peg dolls to play based learning this week and they were a hit. The children retold the story of The Last Supper in their own words and made their own story scene🌟

I love music and musical theatre, in fact my undergraduate degree was in Drama- so it’s fair to say I love performance. I explored music on KS2 placement, ending the placement by creating our own musical scores with Halloween characters instead of notes. Great fun!
